Ronaldinho's agent brother Roberto De Assis has a strong inkling the playmaker will remain at Milan for the rest of his career as they share in president Silvio Berlusconi's "here for life" belief.
Reports in the USA on Friday claimed Ronaldinho was heading to the Los Angeles Galaxy, who were tabling Landon Donovan as part of a deal for the Brazilian.
However, De Assis was terse with his response, insisting his brother will remain at San Siro, hinting at a contract renewal.
"Berlusconi's words have given us enormous pleasure. We always have great respect for Berlusconi. We have a great relationship with Milan and the more we go forward the better it is for everyone. Our desire is the same as Berlusconi's," De Assis told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"I will soon see [Adriano] Galliani. The rapport is excellent and we will discuss the contract. I don't expect any problems, and there is no rush to sign.
"My brother is a Milan player and he is contracted to them. If there are other teams interested they should talk with Milan, not us."
