AC Milan to enter talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Wednesday

Despite "Ibra" having height, strength and skill to match, Barca fans seem certain that he does not fit in with the club's way of playing football. New €40m signing David Villa however does - as can be seen from his goals for Spain alongside Xavi and Iniesta.

The former Ajax, Juventus and Inter Milan striker scored a respectable 21 goals for the Catalan side last season, but this was vastly overshadowed by a certain Lionel Messi, who managed an incredible 47.

While Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola seems to rate Ibrahimovic highly, the board appear less convinced. New Barcelona president Sandro Rosell will speak with AC Milan president Adriano Galliani on Wednesday after the teams' Joan Gamper Trophy match to discuss a potential move to the Rossoneri.

"The negotiations are officially open for Ibra," said Galliani. "On Wednesday I will meet Barcelona's president Sandro Rosell. It will be difficult and we have not yet spoken of the economic aspect."
