Milan Consider Loan Deal For Barcelona Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Milan have conjured up an image of Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Adriano Galliani recasts the transfer market mindset by pondering a loan deal.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports agent Mino Raiola is looking for alternative clubs for 'Ibra', who feels his opportunity at the Catalan club has diminished following the arrival of David Villa.

This follows a report in Sport.es on Wednesday which claimed the former Inter striker had a secret agreement with Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi.

Barcelona want €40 million for a transfer, but Milan have made it clear they are not prepared to dispense with such an amount of equity, but they do feel Ibrahimovic would be a worthy investment.

With that in mind, Galliani likes the idea of a loan move. It will be a one-year switch and the agreement would include the right to make the move permanent later.

Despite the reports in Spain and Italy wanting Ibrahimovic away from Camp Nou, he and Barcelona have maintained there will be no exit this summer, with coach Pep Guardiola recently saying he had "faith" in the striker.
